SERVICE ACADEMY PREDICTIONS – WEEK 10

Army, Navy and Air Force are all in action this week. Navy tangles with Temple in Philadelphia tonight while Army visits Air Force on Saturday in a CIC game.

NAVY AT TEMPLE, 8 PM ET, ESPN

Navy plays in the spotlight tonight in Philadelphia. This just isn’t the Temple team we’ve been used to seeing the past few years. Long gone is quarterback P.J. Walker who played so well for the Owls for several years. Navy’s coming off two straight losses. After a bye week to heal up and rest, look for Navy to get back in the business of winning.

Prediction: Navy 34, Temple 17

Saturday, November 4

ARMY AT AIR FORCE, 1:30 PM MT (3:30 ET), CBS SPORTS NETWORK

Air Force has really picked things up the past few weeks. After being nearly given up for dead earlier in the season they have now won three in a row to break even at 4-4. Playing on the road in a place the Black Knights have only won three times is a challenge. Furthermore, while Army has a bowl bid locked up, Air Force is still working to reach that milestone. They’ve got three tough conference games after Army. They know they have to win this one. Just like Air Force proved our prognosticator wrong last week by beating a good Colorada State team on the road, so could Army. Look for this to be a low scoring game as both teams know how to defend the option.

Prediction: Air Force 20, Army 17
