Army goes for it on 4th and 1 from around their own 15 yard line with about a minute to play. They make the first down and can now run out the clock in the first half.

At the half, Army 21, Buffalo 7.

Army twice has not had a returner take the punt, and both times the ball has rolled to the deep end of their own territory. Interesting decisions that have paid off but still, interesting.

This is so satisfying to start out as an underdog like this and watch the win probability move so dramatically in Army's favor.

all around not great drive for the defense- couldn't stop the run, pass, or penalties. No pressure on Jackson at all

Defense was on the verge of an OUTSTANDING goal line stand, but ANOTHER penalty saves Buffalo. Didn't even need to touch the receiver. No discipline.

Buffalo TD, saved by the McClinton PI penalty. The lack of discipline in the secondary is deeply concerning. How many drives have been extended by large penalties like that?

Army scores on 25 yard TD pass to Asberry. Drive included a 4th and 1 two yard gain by Hopkins.
PAT good.

Army 28
Buffalo 13

PASSIND TOUCHDOWN! Coates and Asberry were both there and Asberry cut in front of Coates to snag it and score! Either could have taken it, glad it didn't get dropped in the middle. Great answer by the offense

Coach clearly didn’t agree with that last blocking penalty.

I don’t really understand what was illegal about that.

Hard to say there is a more fired-up, high-energy coach than Monken. His yelling at officials was caught on audio clear as day for a good 45 seconds, vulgarities and all. Love the fire and the passion.

Hopkins has looked great aside from that INT.

Glad the offense overcame that penalty, but Monken was clearly pissed. They did a poor job of audio right there. I heard something along the lines of:
"We talked about that before the game! That's bananas...that's bananas!"

First call of the game that seemed blatantly wrong, but it fortunately didn't have an impact.
