Just asking, wouldn’t availability of accommodations normally be part of the negotiations before awarding the game to a city?

Negotiations included hotel availability. However nobody took into consideration Mass. law which requires the govt to provide shelter for the homeless before anything else. People who had reservations were informed that they were cancelled.

250 years ago it was King George and the Redcoats that were battling it out in Mass. Now it is Sleepy Joe and the Migrants fighting over Mass. residency and shelter. My how history repeats itself.

George and the Redcoats, at least, were respectable folk. Howe and Cornwallis had standards.

The modern foes have no honor or dignity.
