I would rather play mid-major Group of 5 opponents geographically relevant to our program and some other schools nationally that have some meaning to us with some feeling towards them.
And I do not feel that Tulsa, Charlote, Florida Atlantic or anybody else in this crackpot put-together association of teams that we could rarely get excited about these days.

Ah, just wake up somebody.
Fortnately, or unfortunately, depending on your perspective, "I" am not the Army AD, "I" am not a current player, "I" am not a cadet, "I" am not the only Army football fan. "I" don't get to decide, just as "I" didn't in Army's glory days of football when the Army had a distinct advantage in keeping its football team intact during the war years. The rest of us will just have to appreciate today and not spend 99% of our time being Negative Nancy about everything. Enjoy the game.

I always enjoy every Army game. i love when they win and extremely lost when they lose. The more games they have like this year, I am excited for the team, coaches, the Corps and all others who really care for the program.
Personally, I am not a negative person. My opinion is always realistic to what I believe. Otherwise, I would be nothing more than a hypocrite to myself and to others. They may not always be correct to many other folks but that is the way I'm made of, I guess.

When you say people need to “wake up” if they don’t agree with you, aren’t you kind of going beyond just offering an opinion, and kind of declaring yourself as the arbiter of truth?

Here is an article that came out yesterday. It includes some good information and some of that information is why I do not think the game will move to a "regular" conference game. Too much of a cash cow.
