Has anyone seen the pictures of devestation at West Point last night. You can go to recordonline or timeunion.com...there are probably other sites as well. .A portion of Thayer Road is gone. Route 218 Old Storm King, fell into the river and is blocking the train tracks, Washington road at some point collapsed. I hate to say it but it looks like we were attacked by the squids with all the water that came down. Can't imagine what Lusk looks like, anyhow, Palisades is closed as well

I was at West Point yesterday 8/3...The only construction at Stdium is the installation of new Turf. Knowing from local cost 5 years ago that's a million plus with new underlayment. As for ingress and egress. The road going down to the dock is closed. Washington Road from the Cementary to Mills road is detoured, but you can travel locally to the intersection leading to Eisenhower Hall. No repairs until Corp of Engineers do their magic and then send it out to bid. In other words, they are going to have to open the upper road to the synagogue and catholic church, As for completion maybe graduation 2024/ or football 2024, or longer, Route 293 is closed forever!?!? so access on a football saturday is going to be a NIGHTMARE PRE STONY LONESOME GATE DAYS, AND that was with on 32,000 full house. Finally the new cyber building is HUGE and with parking that whole mountain ridge has been removed, Second day of practice. OUT !!!
