Another interesting facet of this change is the "Thatcher factor" himself:
Did his former team pile up all those gaudy offensive stats because they had an all-world QB, or was it Thatcher's brilliant scheme?
Is he a great game play-caller?
Will he be in the press box or on the field?
Can he adjust effectively against different defenses?
Can he make good half-time adjustments?
And how has he brought around our QB's? In other words, in this offense they will ostensibly have a great deal more leeway (or OPTIONS) than we had in the Davis regime. So, has Thatcher/Worley trained 'em up to keep/pitch/throw/run as the defense reacts?
