This Team is unwatchable

Growing up in Brooklyn I have been an Army fan since the late 50's. Lots of ups and downs thru the years. I never applied to West Point but I have been a big fan. The last 5-6 years I looked forward to watching the Army games on cable/satellite. The team has been more than competitive but for me they were fun to watch from an execution standpoint. If yesterday's game is any indication this team will be unwatchable this year especially from an offensive standpoint. Calling the offense inept could be an understatement.

Apparently the new rules are hurting the offense. It seems to have hurt Navy as well with their dreadful performance against ND. Air Force did put up 380 rushing against Robert Morris a FCS school that was winless last season. Let's wait and see how they do against better competition.

If things don't improve dramatically it looks like a 3-9 season at best. Let's hope the coaching staff is up to the challenge. I always looked forward to watching Army play on Saturday. If this keeps up, I don't think I can watch. My wife heard me griping when I was watching the game last night and I told her when I came up from our game room "This team is unwatchable". I told her that the game I watched earlier Colorado vs TCU was fun to watch and while we were watching the end of the Wyoming/ Texas Tech game I said that this game was enjoyable to watch. We caught the end of this game because we changed the channel to watch our local news and the game was still on. Even my wife stated that this game was fun and exciting to watch. Not being a Pollyanna when I use the word fun. I was a D1 athlete and I know fun comes with winning but playing well and executing, what you practice, well no matter what the outcome was, for me, was fun and satisfying. Yesterday's game was not in the same universe as satisfying.
