STARTING NEW THREAD SO EVERYONE KNOWS NYC TV STATION JUST ANNOUNCED t-WAY AROUND NYACK AND TAPPEN ZEE BRIDGE WILL BE CLOSED SATURDAY FOR REPAIRS FROM RECENT ACCIDENT. THEY ARE DIVERTING TRAFFIC TO BEAR MOUNTAIN BRIDGE AND THAT ROAD IS A "BEAR" TO BEGIN WITH btw WASHINGTON ROAD IS CLOSED FROM CEMENTARY TO MILLS ROAD FOR CAVE IN SO TAKE IT FOR WHAT ITS WORTH. OUT

The closure affects only the southbound lanes.

Thanks for posting this information. We usually take I-95 South to Tappan Zee, then Palisades Parkway North etc. Looks like that direction will be fine (one lane blocked). Coming home we will take I-84 East, cross the Hudson in Newburgh. All Southbound traffic on I-87/287 at Nyack will be diverted all day Saturday due to overpass damage in Nyack. What a mess!
