Army vs. Delaware State Game Thread

DSU now has more TOP and first downs than Army as we allow a long drive after the turnover and roughing penalty. Pass D looked weak on that drive.

Buchanan hit before he gets to the line. Daily gets the first down on 4th.

Daily with a couple of bad throws, then a great fake on 4th and a run for first down.

Nice drive - 80 yards in 13 plays. Overcame a few miscues and avoided the turnover. Converted on 2 4th down plays.

Army D comes up big in 4th and 1.

Seems like our D is strong on the initial downs - pretty likely to get a 3-and-out, but if the opponent gets a first down or 2 they are getting into the red zone.

Our short yardage defense has stuffed them a few times today. Our last fourth down stop just highlights the disadvantage of having the QB in the shotgun when you only need a foot or so.

I know Daly's the junior starter but the two freshmen we've seen today might just have an "it" factor that'll give us a lot of optimism for future years.

Given how often we run Daily, we will likely need them before the season is over. Coaches seem pretty high on Champ Harris and Larry Robinson can run the crap out of the ball.

Holy Cross giving BC all they can handle today. Not sure if that is good news (BC not as good as we thought) or bad news (HC is going to be a big challenge). Maybe a bit of both.
