Syracuse looking past us….
I live in Syracuse and all on anyone’s mind is Clemson the following week. Scant analysis (stop Our QB). So the team I think could be ripe for an upset, we have been pencilled in as a Syracuse W all summer. Now all their talk is about a potential special season. They are good, very good -but lost their all American WR Gadsen for the season.

Hope you're right; however:
They have a Josh Allen lookalike at QB. Big, strong, heady runner and a fearless passer.
3 other WR's besides Gadsen who are tall, fast, and strong.
An O line that keeps the pressure off.
Their offense will be a huge challenge for Nate's boys...
Keep 'em under 24 points or so and we can win this thing, but it'll take another near-perfect performance.

Agree, Armorman. Our O will need to take another step forward and our D will need to create multiple turnovers.

The odds are heavily in favor of Syracuse, though Army may end up being the toughest team on their schedule so far. I think their defense may be even better than their offense.

Syracuse alum/die hard fan here.I’d have to disagree with the OP. The feeling I have about this game and the feeling I’ve gotten from our board is that this is a game we should win, but we can’t sleep walk either. I think the general consensus is that Army is a team that can match our size in the trenches and will not beat themselves with penalties or mental errors. And as for the team overlooking Army, I don’t believe that will happen. Dino Babers comes from a military family and knows how hard these games are, I think he’ll have the boys locked in for this one. I’m really looking forward to Saturday, I think it’ll be a good challenge.
