Does anyone know if Army will impacted by the new rules limiting roster size - I read 85-95 players?

Current rules limit roster size and meanwhile Army has over 200 football players
We’ll be fine

Well...at this point we all know that is all about the money. It's not about competitive balance, it's not about what's good across the board...it's about maximizing profits. Since players are going to be treated as employees and will be paid, that means roster caps have to come so that they can agree on a measure to control costs.
Assuming there is an actual end to the money for most/all of these schools, and the desire to keep some for themselves kicks in, they'll have to set a reasonable limit on roster sizes to keep their costs under control. That will likely trim all rosters some...and there will be a "trickle down" effect as those players can't remain on rosters at their first choice school, they'll drop down a tier to the next team where they can find an actual roster spot. That could open up the Service Academies to a few more players that want to play D1 football and wouldn't otherwise be able to hold a spot on a roster at another school as a walk-on.

Hoping to see more 2 and 3 star players choose Army (yeah, I'm setting my sights low to be realistic).
Could you imagine what getting a 5 star at USMA would be like?
