Elated with the win but if we have these same penalties and turnovers against Notre Dame, the Irish will drill us like they did Navy.

Tremendous game from the Army defense holding UNT to 3 points. They entered the game averaging 40.75 points per game. The offense put up a second half drive running 13.54 off the clock - almost the entire third quarter.

Army goes 9-0 and has two weeks to prepare for Notre Dame. Beat the Irish.

That was the first time since 2016 that UNT did not score a TD. Heck of a job by the Army D.

Great grind it out win! Missing the edge but still finished the cut. Clearly the D carried the load again. Tough on the road coming out of an unsettled few weeks. It’s in the books W.

Is anyone else thinking of buying one of those Santa Claus “I Do It For The Ho’s” t-shirts?

The most impressive thing about the defense was how they adjusted to the pace of the game. At the start of the game they seemed bewildered and about 2 steps behind on every single play. After the opening drive when NT burned about half the 1Q (was it 18 plays?) I was thinking this was going to ba a LONG day. Much credit to the defense for making the necessary adjustments - whatever they were.
