Another pressure cooker. This was a nice win. This was the kind of game we would have lost in the past. Beat Tulane at home!

Kfan is likely right. Next year’s QB’s need to build bulk and muscle. Bryson Daily is a great quarterback and we may not see his likes again. I go back to Monk Myer, (runner up for the Heisman), YA Tucker, Arnold Galiffa, Rollie Stichweh (whom I played against) and I’ve never seen a QB like Bryson Daily for Army. And you guys have barely mentioned his name throughout the season like you did with Bradshaw, Anderson, Tyler, McAda, Hopkins, et.al.
And BandB 97 is such a Debbie Downer. Jeez!!

The team is 10-1 and Playing for a Conference Championship at home next week for those who are too committed to the sackcloth and ashes routine to notice that. Just figured I’d mention it.

This team is awful. This team would loose by 3 TDs to the team that started the season.

They have bought into their own hype and have regressed dramatically. They think they are better than they are and are playing like it now.

…I get people use game threads to vent and stuff, but kind of tough to then play the “I’m just a realist” card after that

Yeah Larkin’s interception after coming back in the game from injury was just luck. Nothing to do with the pressure on the QB or the play call…so you calling 10 and 3 now…give it a rest man. Smile, enjoy, give it a try. Merry Christmas

Everyone dissecting my comments on an anonymous message board, making statements about who I am or what I would be like or do just make me laugh. It would be hilarious to meet many of you in person.

Regardless, I am happy they ended up winning. As a grad and die hard fan, I always want them to win; however, I stand by what I said. This team is not playing well. Am I happy they managed to pull out the victory or UTSA helped them (they did no matter how rosy your glasses are)…of course I am. Will I be beyond happy if they manage to win Friday and beat Navy too…of course. I always want them to win but for those of you who still think this team is playing well…you are not watching the games. That was not a good performance today or last week or even against NT for that matter. The O has regressed or the opposing teams have figured out our lack of depth at play calling. Whichever it is, if you watch the last 3 games and walk away with anything more, you are not paying attention. You can be happy they won and managed to pull out the victory…I am too. But if you want to deny that the team has not been playing well, you are just kidding yourself. Thank god we have the 2nd easiest schedule in college football.

North Texas had two weeks to figure out how to slow down Army's run game. They had the talent to do so, and ND used that same defense, and superior talent, to do so. Still Army's D also gets to play. UTSA came in averaging 47 ppg in their last four. Army entered averaging 23.5 ppg. The reality of the schedule is the second half of the season was against better competition this year, so yes the scoring has gone down. Still, they have managed to win three of those four games and are playing pretty well all-in-all. Had the D been able to slow down ND at all, that game would have looked a lot more respectable, but let's not forget there are three phases to the game and the competition week-to-week is not the same.
