REPORT: Udoh to enter the transfer portal

We’ve had players each year in portal including #21 catching punts today. And we’ve had almost 0 players in portal or transferring pre-portal who’ve gone on to do something somewhere else. I struggle to think of 1 successful transfer story in the last 10 years?

At WP we cannot bring in any proven talent but our talent can leave before junior year.
You may enter but you start as a plebe. Who is going to do that?
Is that fair to the academies? Of course not.
We are a member of the NCAA that has no rights under this arrangement.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, The A/N/ AF games are the only pure amateur games left in college sports.
They all praise us for our dedication but in the end, they all beat the shit kicked out of us on the field of play.
They get the donor NIL dollars. We get an "atta boy" response. What a bunch of horse dung.

Udoh was recruited by P4 schools so anyone that is shocked by this has blinders on. The fact that he is a sophomore and has no commitment to pay backs makes this the perfect time for him to leave. Listen I hate that we lose our best running back but this is the landscape today. If Navy recruits or develops a stud athlete they will have the same problem. Unlike some of our other players that tested the portal I think Udoh will find a home. I would be shocked if he is on our roster next year.

Just what I expected. I used to love to watch college football The only games I watched this season were the Army games. The transfer portal is just as bad in basketball. Might as well hold a college draft and be done with it. I wonder if the NCAA had any idea of what the magnitude of transfers would be. I agree with everyone who has posted that the "sport" has suffered from this thing.

Are we running a stable of potential stars for the NFL?
Are we running a school for training future officers to defend our country?
