This excuse is absurd. They were emotionless, unfocused and unprepared. A combination of the emotion expended in/ after the AAC game, and the coaches not managing that, getting the team emotionally and schematically prepared. Entire team was off focus: running wrong routes, throwing, blocking, being in position on run defense, etc. They were wholly unprepared for Navy's offense and were not fired up to move/ block the defense for the run game.

I don't think "fatigue" was the problem. I think the failure by the coaches was in not recognizing and managing the emotional side of the AAC Championship and Not being focused themselves on the AN game, rather than being distracted by external factors.
