Going to need some pretty good field glasses to see the games: " including the modernization of the stadium’s east side stands, which run alongside the Hudson River. "

Let me do you a solid and solve this mystery for you. The east stands do not run along the Hudson River. The east stands do boarder Lusk Reservoir which is at least two miles away and many hundreds of feet above the Hudson River. Therefore, if the east stands in fact were along the Hudson then one would need binoculars or “field glasses” to watch a game from the east stands.

As per usual these days the editing is, what is the adjective I am looking for?, uhm awful. So the poster is using a technique called satire to point out the absurdity of the incorrect description in the article.

Hope that helps.

On a different front Tom T came aboard 2 years ago to take some control over the dept which was not running well. My question is with this guy right under their nose why did it take 2 months to hire/promote him. It appears he was the best they could find after an exhaustive search and few applications. Even Bob B was not asked, eligible, or applied. Maybe we should have looked at the Tarkington St AD he secured a game with a NE Top 25 team. The jury will be out a while on this one.

That is a poor article.

While not their work, our athletic communications department has been in shambles for years.
