It's shaping up to be a special season regardless...but it would sure be awesome to see him get some Heisman love. Lots of football to play yet...but if somehow Daily led Army to run the table and win the AAC championship, he'd have to be in the conversation as one of the top candidates. That would be the best Army season since 1945 and put Army squarely in the CFP conversation, if not getting an actual invite.
All that being said, I think it's Jeunty's to lose. He's on pace to break the all-time NCAA season rushing record set by Barry Sanders. If he does that, I think he's the clear winner...and of course Travis Hunter could make a few spectacular plays on either side of the ball and remind voters that he's a unique generational talent and come away with the trophy too.
Love that Army's getting the attention it is this year. While we can sit back and enjoy it, I hope Monken and the leaders on the team are keeping the guys focused on the next goal: beating the hell outta the Zoomies!
Great take. Level-headed as always and I 100% agree.
No matter how this thing shakes out, I’m happy about the positive media attention that Army is getting. Looking forward to hopefully embarrassing Air Force.

Another Heisman podcast interviewing Daily. Given Navy’s loss today and their QB’s mishaps think all underdog attention will go to Daily now. Got to love all the TOC and attention we are getting

Today on3 lists the top 10 vote getters/watched for the Heisman yet next up listed with 4 votes is Daily and gets a write up on his performance against NT. If Army can finally take down ND expect Daily to be a serious contender as one of the finalists. That would be yet another huge boost for the Academy and recruiting.

I saw that Daily is in the semi-finalist (16 people) for best overall college player and best QB. I forget the award names (neither of these were the Heisman). Great to see him get the recognition he deserves. Beat Notre Dame and anything can happen.

Notre Dame upset was not in the cards and Heisman finalist a little less likely. However, Daily and Army continue to garner a lot of attention and yesterday Daily made the list of 16 semi finalist for the Campbell award given annually to the nation’s top offensive player either in or from the state of Texas. Beat UTSA and Tulane and recognition will keep coming to the players and program.

Following the Tulane game Monken began lobbying for Daily as a Heisman finalist saying: “Monken said Daily should be invited to the Heisman Trophy presentation ceremonies next weekend, though not the favorite to win. Daily is actually busy that Saturday as he leads the Black Knights against Navy in Landover, Md.” Though still a fringe candidate think he personifies the Heisman and it would continue and heighten the season long media attention to Army.

Four touchdowns in one game! That credit goes to Daily and one of my favorite TV heroes. Daily was unstoppable last night. By the fourth quarter we were gaining 10 yds. a pop. The post game celebration and award ceremony were very inspiring. I hope Army gets invited to a higher level bowl game.

With the CFP, there is not a “higher level bowl game” per se. There are AAC tie-ins. Bowl organizers and TV decide. We are very likely going to Shreveport and against an ACC team (NC St?)

Monken pushing for Daily invited to NY as Heisman finalist is paying media dividends as I saw at least twenty non sports outlets pick up his comments and expanded arguments - great attention to Army. I for one hope it is enough to get Daily invited at least.
“ There’s a lot of great football players in the country, but there’s not one that means more to his team than that guy sitting right down there,” he added, pointing down a table toward Daily. “And so it’s the MVP of college football. Who’s most valuable to their team? I’d argue there’s not a guy in America more valuable to their team than Bryson Daily.”

Now it is done - despite tremendous heart and effort and support - Daily was not chosen as a finalist. He is a tremendous player, leader and role model for the country
