Looks like Daily was 6th in the Heisman voting.

Call me biased but I agree with Monken and the Commissioner of the AAC - Daily should have been invited as a finalist given the importance he is for the team and what he and team accomplished.

Totally agree! That said it is great to see that he was in the mix and not left off the top-10.

This may be sacrilege to some, but an Army player coming in 6th in Heisman voting in 2024 is arguably just as impressive as winning it was in the ‘40’s. The landscape has changed so much, none of it in Army’s favor, that Daily’s season goes right up there with Davis, Blanchard, and Dawkins in terms of stature.

Moral victory logic.

Davis, Blanchard, and Dawkins played and performed expertly against the best teams of the era.

Daily is not their equal.

Total BS comment. Those Army teams had the best talent in the country. Today, we are seldom have the best talent ton the field. This team’s (and Daily’s) performance is historically great.

We played a soft schedule and performed as we should have done so.

Historically great is a stretch of hyperbole.

This comment aged like milk.

Those legends beat Navy.

No disrespect to Daily, a very good Army football player and captain.

He’s not a Heisman candidate anymore than Horvath at Navy. We saw that today.
