Re: Board of visutors fired
I think we would all do well to consider individual actions, plans and statements on their own merits rather than operating as a sycophant to either party's leadership. The USG isn't a sports team and, we should all quit acting as fanatics supporting one political side or the other unconditionally. Joe Biden was showing signs of decreasing mental acuity before he was elected. It was obvious and it got steadily worse throughout his term. He made enough mistakes to make President Carter look like he knew what he was doing in foreign affairs. The current administration's position with respect to Russia and Ukraine is abhorrent to US policies in support of legitimate democracies just as it is congruent with Reagan's "promise" that NATO would not expand to the east. Most concerning is the failure to understand and honor Ukraine's right to decide whether to end a war with Russia that will yield land over which its citizens have bled, accusing their president of "just wanting (mooching) our Money." Neville Chamberlain's example will end with Ukraine's extinction and potentially all of the former eastern bloc countries as well. Neither party holds a monopoly on the truth, good intentions or smarts. and yes, the Board of Visitors needed change.
