Yeah - it kind of looked like the return of Brent Davis. However considering the loss of Daily, Army did the right thing by playing a conservative game. Loved the intensity of the defense. Don't know anything about Daily (that's the army way), but they'll have to scrap the quarterback run offense without him - Coleman doesn't have the strength to run it. Hope we have someone better looking to next season.

Love the result but we gotta get Daily back. Air Force was game but this is probably the least talented Falcons squad I've seen in the 50 plus years I've watched Service Academy football. Given that Air Force has worn us out over those same 50 plus years, any win against them is cherished.

Meanwhile Memphis loses another game this time to UTSA. Memphis is definitely overrated, but right now I'm happy with the 8-0 for Army. I never thought I would see this happen thank you so very much Coach Monken!

Great win today for Army. Service Academy vs. Service Academy games are always brutal affairs.

We won. And with a backup QB. I’ll take it. Beat Navy next.

Having Coleman manage the game avoiding mistakes was the right call - no point in handing AFA any field position their offense didn’t earn. The decision to go for it on 4th an 2 on their own end made me a bit nervous but thankfully worked out.
Great job by defense knowing they had much less margin for error this week - especially when overcoming the atrocious PI call deep in their territory.
BTW, who is that DT for AFA (#96?) who blew up every play until he had to be helped off the field? He looked to be about 35 years old by looking at his picture.
