It's only fitting the way the game ended on the last play.

I see I missed nothing but pain.

This is rock bottom.
The easiest rebuttal to “this is rock bottom” is “0-13,” which we know cannot happen this year. Is this team bad? Absolutely, but definitely not 2003 Army 0-13 bad.

Beat ‘em!

Now 20 turnover in 8 games. Complete failure in every aspect of the game. 14 points in three games, and needed a 12 men on the field call to get one of those scores. There really aren't words.

The talent is not there. We have FCS players, playing a weak FBS schedule. The coaching is not there. Nothing is there. Rock bottom. I just hope we do not lose to Holy Cross, but we might

My first attendance at Michie since I got sick almost 4 years ago. Never missed a game for the previous 40 years at home and many away for the past 75 years.
It was great to be back "home" again. Many happy memories. Beautiful weather, good crowd and the tailgating was superb. I enjoyed the atmosphere, the fans and remembering the good times.
Only the defeat got to me. I have to say the teams performance was the worst display of an Army team since the days of Berry, the awful loss at home to Air Force one year and the 1973 winless season.
Rock bottom with no hope on the horizon. They were bad times but I dismiss them all now because we had a staff those days and the talent of not being able to play the teams scheduled.
Different times today. We have a head coach who is the best we have had since the days of Red Blaik, the talent we have is much better, the training is much better except in one area which appears to me is that our system is failing and we seem to be regressing on offense, defense, special teams especially in the area of punting.
Atrocious tackling, defensive line and linebackers so weak that you can drive a truck through, corners and safeties playing 10- 12 yards too soft on receivers , OBs who lob their passes so slow that interceptions have become common OL splits way too wide, no intensity, spirit or the will to overcome even the small adversities of the game. A dull, boring style of play that has produced very little in the way of excitement, enthusiasm or fan interest. We appear to be playing BERRY BALL again.
You need the type of talent to run a brand of the gun formation but that takes more than we now have. This system appears to be failing and the more we get into this schedule it becomes more apparent that we will not recover and any win left looks like it will be gone with the wind.
This is not what you want or need for these guys who are being trained to be future officers in the US Army.
I'm not so sure we can overcome this new offensive system and now we have to contend again with a new conference affiliation.
This reminds me of those days when we thought we could compete in C-USA. We did not then and will not now. A pro-set was installed then which desroyed any chance of success when we entered the last time when Berry introduced it and now today when Monken bought it in this year as we enter a new league running the same offense that every other nondescript team in the league uses this same thing we are now using.
Isn't it amazing how history repeats itself?
Isn,t it
