Buchanan listed at 178lbs. Must be a typo.
Announcers quoted him at 270+, so the listing is just a bill off or so

On the broadcast Ross Tucker said he was 278 - that’s a load. With him and Adkins running in and out all game long we’ll be wearing out defenses in the future.

I'm sure happy we scored 63 points on Saturday but that UMASS score on a double reverse and a pitch to the QB was the best play I saw this year at Michie, I must admit. There was nobody even near that guy who caught the ball and ran it in for the TD. That completely fooled all 11 Army defenders. A perfect play.
I'm glad that was the only one UMASS had all day. ;)

From my seat in the upper deck, it was very apparent that Hopkins has a hitch in his gait. I noticed it as did some others, when he walked to the bench during a time out. His physical appearance indicates a substantial weight gain since last year.
Thank you for posting this. I had forgotten that Hopkins gained weight over the offseason to become more durable and pick up extra yards. It is almost likely that his weight gain has really hurt him. He is slower and less explosive for sure.

I’m not sure the weight gain is an issue. It was pretty clear that he was wearing rib protectors during the Umass game which probably makes him look a little bigger than he really is.

I guess back about 25 years ago, who can ever forget those HUGE shoulder pad everybody wore? Those pads made all the players look like monsters.

Doesn't look like any of you talking about "weight gain" were right.
