Monken’s Contract

When is Monken’s contract up?

Seems like it’s been a number of years since any extension was announced.

In 2017 he signed his first contract extension, and in 2019 he signed his next extension that runs him through 2024. Without having access to the contract, we of course have no idea if his 2019 contract "adds" years to the contract based on certain metrics (ie, win 9 games and a year is added, etc..)

Thanks. Unless there is some hidden clause that’s provided an extension of some kind, it makes this a critical year. Would think Army would want to avoid heading into 2024 season with a coach on his last year of the contract—which would communicate lack of faith in him from West Point, or lack of desire to remain by Monken (or both).

According to the internet, it looks like after the Kansas affair in 2021 Monken got another extension. Terms not disclosed. Monken quoted as saying "its nobody's business but mine and Army."

So....it looks like he is here at least through a few more years past 2024 assuming he stays
