Army & Navy 2023 Schedules

Post by ArmyRoadFan7 »

Navy has really enjoyed pointing out how hard their schedule has been the last few years but with this new watered down AAC. I would say Army has the tougher schedule this year.

Any chest puffing that Navy had about being in a conference disappeared when the best 3 schools left. They are in a run down crappy conference. For all those that complain on this board about Army's schedule, I'd much rather be independent even if it means playing 2 FCS.

We play LSU, Syracuse and BC. They play Notre Dame for the 100th time in a row, and then a bunch of nobodies (nobody in the sense that the average fan doesn't give a crap about UAB or Tulsa or Temple)

Here’s an over-simplified, but stark comparison of schedule strength using opponents’ win loss records from 2022:

https://www.si.com/fannation/college/cf ... kings-2023

Here are the SA rankings:

Army: 24th toughest schedule. Opponent combined record: 88-65, 57.5% wins.

Navy: 119th toughest schedule. Opponent combined record: 69-82. 45.7% wins.

AF: 128th toughest schedule (only 5 easier). Opponent combined record: 66-83, 43.2% wins.
