So now what?

How are we feeling? We lost to a terrible ULM team in old Army fashion and took a joke of a football team to the woodshed.

What are we feeling about the offense now? They showed they can execute in what amounted to basically practice. Does that give anyone any hope for next week or are we writing off this game entirely as irrelevant because of the poor quality of opponent?

I, for one, am happy we won and hopeful that the offense getting some live action helps for next week but it’s hard to be optimistic still….

Other thoughts?

Did what they needed to and only one turnover improvement where needed some inexcusable penalties but mostly good enjoy the win see how they execute on Friday multiple players saw action which is good D and special teams looked good

a win is a win....but this team was terrible....our scout team would have beaten them by 25

My biggest takeaway from the game was feeling encouraged about the poise and talent of the backup QB's. Seems like a nice pipeline to come at that position. Sure, DS was awful, but their talent was apparent.

Agree that both plebe QB's looked very impressive as did that plebe running back, which is really encouraging for the future. As an aside, wonder what happened to Duane Coleman, the yearling? Up to yesterday he was QB2. Must be injured...

We took care of business and dominated a bad football team and hopefully regained some confidence.

First, I’ll say that I am happy with the win we needed it and got it.

2. Glad to see the O move the ball and the playbook opened up. While it increases the risk of a loss, it is the way this offense was designed.

3. DSU was a bad team, particularly on defense, so we will have to continue to improve as we get into the challenging part of our schedule.

4. Our defense generally looked good again, but when their QB2 came in and could throw on the run they got some big plays.

Net, after celebrating the win, lots to work on before Friday.

So now what? Played Vassar College back when it was an all girls school. Kicked their ass. Dudes playing chicks. When dudes played dudes we lost. We are on the spectrum.

And my best girl was at the Navy game and the very few people that showed up were disgusted. Going to be a soccer match come December. That’s not the football I call football.
