How You Feeling Heading into the BC Game?

I'm cautiously optimistic. Between the glimmers of success we've seen (UTSA game and 1st half of Syracuse), the bye-week, and reports that Robinson may be ready to contribute...I think Army may be primed for a great game on Saturday.

I think Army gets out to an early lead and plays well enough in the second half to hold on for the W:

I little confused. Not sure if we get the good Army team that can dominate TOP or the bad one that can’t connect on a pass.

Same can be said about BC. Do we get the team that gave FL St a run for its money or the team that lost to Northern Illinois?

Generally agree with the cautious optimism expressed above. One interesting factoid I heard this week is that BC has been greatly out scores in the first half and has won every second half. We’ll likely need a strong start to win this one.

I think having the 2 weeks off has come at the perfect time.
The offense and coaches have a chance to exam the
4 games played where the offense look good at times and
awful others. Army makes the corrections, continues to develop
the offense.

That would be an indication that BC coaches are making not-so-good game plans but really good halftime adjustments and their players don't quit. Will likely be a tough out.

I think this is a totally winnable game. Comes down to our ability to run the ball. BC not great rushing so they will try to throw it all over the place and not super effective doing that.

Here's the stat that matters to me going in to this game:

Rushing Defense: 162 yards per game for BC

This is about the same at ULM and UTSA. However BC played a much tougher schedule with Louisville, FSU, and Holy Cross. Syracuse is about 96 yards per game.

If they stop our run game it's going to be tough to win. And if they don't we still likely have to play perfect with no penalties and 100% conversion rate on 4th down to win

This game will tell us a lot I think.

We will run just fine but our passing is no to where I would like to see it going into our 5th game.
Bad weather for Saturday as predicted. We will give BC a heavy dose of the run game Passing the ball in slick conditions would be tricky as we are still grasping the fine points of the pass game.
