We cannot compete this year with Air Force. We do not have the talent in our new Offensive system to compete with these guys. Sad, but I feel realistic i my opinion.

Unfortunately, the Zoomies are better than us. Full stop. But I do think the current spread nearly 18 is too high.

Would sure be nice if the Army team that beat UTSA and nearly beat what’s turning out to be a pretty good BC would show up! That team would have a shot a win today.

Until I see that team again, I have to believe that the team that lost to UMASS is the team that will be playing today, which means this won’t be very close. AF covers:

I was in the 48-3 camp, having completely lost faith. Somehow, that Army D really showed-up and the O did enough in the first half to really get AF rattled. I was still waiting for the implosion with 8 minutes left, then 6, then 3, then . . . our guys never broke! Exhilarating victory!
