If his new offense was working and we were 8-2/9-1 with wins over syracuse and BC, he’d be the lead candidate for the A&M job

Coach JM must be kicking himself for missing out on that opportunity. Can you imagine all the people lining up for consideration for THAT job? Ol' Jimbo must be crying all the way to the bank. Even Scott Frost is jealous of the buyout JF is getting.

Yeah, A&M, the program with massive delusions of grandeur, would pluck a service academy coach in 2023. The Aggies think they should be able to sign away Saban. Despite not winning a national title since 1939.
I would rather be 8-2/9-1 and risk losing the head coach than sitting at 4-6.
