Re: Hawaii Upsets AF
Maybe they were watching the Holy Cross game earlier in the day. Imagine trying to convince yourself how good your team really is after seeing that.

They gave up 3 interceptions. I looked at the box score and Larrier didn’t play.

Re: Hawaii Upsets AF
There's only one additional time zone going from Colorado to Hawaii vs. going from New York to Colorado. However, the first is an eight hour plane ride vs. three hours for the second one. Lou Holtz used to say, "don't let the same team beat you twice" but that appears to be exactly what Army did to Air Force. In fairness, you certainly could see a hangover effect in our game against Holy Cross even though we won the previous week. If Air Force isn't careful, they could wind up with four losses, an outcome no one thought possible a couple of weeks ago when they were on a 13 game winning streak in serious contention for a NY6 bowl bid.

Re: Hawaii Upsets AF
Historically, plenty of good teams have seen crazy losses in Hawaii. MWC fans always mention it. It is not a fun trip, especially if a team is hungover from a tough defeat. No tears shed here.USMA76 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 13, 2023 5:48 pm There's only one additional time zone going from Colorado to Hawaii vs. going from New York to Colorado.
