Not really sure what this means for staff but I wouldn't be surprised if Thatcher and maybe Drinkall aren't here next season. But we will see. The idea that we just didn't get better in the Gun Option is the hard part to figure out. So how long do you stay with it??

Great link. He talks about not serving 2 masters but also wanting to find elements of the gun that “our guys can run well”. What are those? Or better yet, what are those elements that we can utilize from the gun if we execute better? I would love to have a hybrid that the defenses find difficult to predict and defend.

Monken mentioned they barely practiced under center. Props to the players and Coach Worley to beat a talented team with little to no practice. Incredible.
Glad we’ve realized we need to call plays for the players we have rather than fighting it. Seems simple enough.
