I know Army received a beat down from LSU but this Navy game is crazy. 413 yrd for SMU and Navy has 18. Not even halftime yet.

At 59-14, SMU must be playing local HS kids at this point.

I wouldn’t gloat. Navy has a way of playing us tough regardless of record. I’m surprised they are favored, but honestly like our chances better as an underdog.

Our 2 worst losses prove we can lose to anyone but we are a better team. We are actually a better team even when we run the Gun and we are a vastly better team if we run the offense that we showed CC. We have the same record but Navy’s 5 wins are against teams that all having losing records. We have beaten two 8 win teams and two 7 win teams. 7 of our opponents will play in bowl games. Almost all of our offensive and defensive stats are better than Navy’s. So even with our inept Gun which we hopefully wont see at all, the stats say we should win. What we need to finally do is play a complete game, execute and score some points. I am hopeful we can actually beat them by an impressive margin which we have not done in a long time.

Yes the one silver lining for Navy in this game was the 4th string QB. He's big, fast, and looks like their offensive leader in the coming years. I wouldn't doubt we see him under center on Dec 9th.
