Re: Post Game Interviews
The most interesting part of the press conference was watching the guy in the red shirt trying to stay awake.
I'd like to know if Robinson will ever play another down.

Robinson must be in bad shape if he's not even back to return punts - although he's had his share of adventures in that role. Has there ever been any research done on how far an average punt rolls before it stops dead? The coaching staff may want to use analytics evaluate the cost of letting punts roll given the frequency of catastrophic results from even attempting fair catches.

According to Black Knight Nation Sept. 19, Robinson was practicing and calling signals on game day. Be great if he comes back soon.

Re: Post Game Interviews
The great Bob Kyasky from Ansonia , CT, was considered the second coming of Glenn Davis earlier in his career at WP. He blew out his knee before his junior year. He rehabbed for quite the time. He did come back but was never the same again. He lost his speed and cutting ability.
Robinson had the same injury, was coming back thru modern- day science but reinjured the same knee again last season with basically the same rehab again.
Sadly, if he does come back, I just don't think he will be the same again.
Glenn Davis was the best. He graduated fine. He then made a movie with Doc (THE SPIRIT OF WEST POINT) and on the set he injured his knee. He rehabbed and then made the Los Angeles Rams team. He even caught a 80-yard pass for a TD in the NFL championship game to get the scoring going in the game against the Cleveland Browns in 1951. The Rams lost and Glenn retired due to his chronic knee situation and then he became head publicity man for the Los Angeles Times. They said he was a great, friendly individual to all who knew him.
Ever hear of Gene Mikelonis, a WP football player? An outstanding football player who was also compared to Davis. Same thing happened to him. Blew out his knee and never played again.
How about VAN Evans, one of the fastest HBs Army ever had. Ran 90 yards on the opening KO of Army's opening game of the season. Shortly thereafter, he blew out his knee and never again played.
I could go on with this shoulda, woulda, coulda situations, but enough is enough.

Re: Post Game Interviews
Don't forget Tommy Smith. He had tremendous speed but in his first game he blew out his knee while running in the open toward a TD.
