My Wingman Constant 69 sez the Times Herald Record reports Tyrell Robinson is very close to returning, and could see action as early as this weekend.

That's supergood news.

Hope he can get a few reps in the next 2 weeks, so he'll be really ready for the zoomies and the second half of the season, which will be much more difficult. As a minimum, I'd love to see him fielding punts, because he has great hands, and he might even decide to take one back...

But here's another great scenario:

How 'bout Robinson and Short in the same backfield, as left and right slots with Udoh behind the QB?! You'd have to defend BOTH perimeters and still stack the middle.... I'd hate like hell to defend that.

Sal asked Coach Monken in the weekly yesterday. He said “evaluating everyday it’s that close”. He also said he’ll most likely be on punt return when he’s ready to come back.

It's his 6th autumn in West Point. All of that experience would be a huge advantage. At this point, if he isn't back soon, maybe they can just roll him back for next fall.
