Army Ranked #18 (AP) and #19 (Coaches)

Continues to be a magical season for Army...hope you all are enjoying it as much as I am. The level of competition Army's faced is the only knock on them at this point, and you can only play the teams on your schedule in any given year. They're winning in dominant fashion, including the win vs. AF with Daily out.
I don't recall all the details of the 1996 season, but I don't remember Army being ranked much. Did they crack the top 25 right before the loss to Syracuse? Seems like this is the first year since probably the 1950's or early 1960's that Army has had multiple weeks in the top 25? Know we've finished there a couple of times, including in maybe 2018(?), but this is unique in modern Army football history to have multiple weeks in the top 25.
We'll drop out with a loss to North Texas...so let's keep the nation's longest winning streak and the national rankings coming...Beat North Texas!
