Re: Army 101st Airborne commemorative uniforms
Why can't they ever honor units outside of WW1 and WW2?

Re: Army 101st Airborne commemorative uniforms
The 101 kind of spearheaded ‘new form’ of blitzkrieg in Vietnam with air cavalry helicopters combined with infantry. A few books written about it. I guess they could highlight the glory of participation in other wars like Vietnam. But don’t miss the message of $AN and please the masses. It’s really complicated.

Which unit that participated in a world-wide conflict wherein participants stayed for the duration of the war would, absent being KIA or WIA, would you like them to honor?

The uniforms in honor of SF and 1st Cav were focused on Afghanistan and Vietnam. Coincidentally, those are two games we lost.
