I think initial reports of Navy being this juggernaut were overblown. They look broken against Tulane. Awful.

They moved the ball a bit before Horvath went out and couldn’t do anything without him. One 3d conversion the whole game and that was in the last half of the 4th quarter in garbage time.
Tulane’s D was pretty stout against the run, holding Navy to 100 rushing yards.
Tulane ran for 220 yards against Navy, but didn’t have much rushing success until late in the game. They relied on some longer passes to make it work. They have slamming but very fast receivers.

Option is tough to run when your starting quarterback it out, and Navy's defense is a little suspect. I am not surprised by the score given Horvath's injury. The Army-Navy game will be a fist fight as Coach Monken says, Navy just got itself an extra week to prepare for us.

Appears Tulane completely dominated Navy and at least this analyst has Tulane looking past Memphis and Army. Hoping Monken keeps Army just focused on upsetting Notr Dame and root for Kansas over Boise.

The shine has worn a bit off navy’s wierd offense partly because in game 1, teams had no film. Now they have 9 games worth
And…navy’s offense with their backup looks about like ours does with our backup
If horvath is healthy he’ll give us everytime we want and more in december

All year long Navy has been horrible on 3rd down situations and without Horvath the offense was practically nonexistent. Tulane was just too tough for Navy and it had to be a deflating loss for Navy. NO ARMY WILL NOT PLAY NAVY TWICE THIS YEAR. It's going to be a hard game for Army against Tulane in the AAC Championship. Army will have to play a complete all round game to win. In recent history Army have had problems playing against Tulane so I'm a little nervous about this game.

just a tidbit for the future...
Broadcaster mentioned Tulane DC coached at Army. From his Bio he was also at Troy, when they shut out Army at Michie...

But right now have to concentrate 1 week at a time. Beat ND!

There were 2611 players in the transfer portal this year - Tulane had 31. This is a system that has rapidly spun out of control and will only get worse. Colleges no longer build a team - they simply acquire it. Just imagine if transfer portal players were required to wear the uniform of the team from which they last transferred. This would dynamically show the state of things.

The broadcaster also mentioned that Tulane practices agains the TO every Monday all season. It will be a challenge for our offense, but I think they are up for it.

Thou we line up showing TO, 75% of our plays are Daily and Udoh running between
the tackles. We are somewhat predictable, but it has been working great, so no complaints.
The O-line has dominated the box, regardless of what other team D's have tried.
It is the definition of smash mouth football. It will be interesting to see how ND
does against it.
