Barely got by Navy last two years , HCs defensive calls at end of both games a farce, even broadcaster said as much last year. Results from Tulane and Navy games will show " how much improved " is this year's bunch, my view not much.
I like HC's forthrightness but as possible HC of a team with athletic ability as opposed to mental toughness , would not work, too accustomed to present level of talent. Army cannot pass, never will , last year 2 -6 in the attempt , cadets will be only 0 -13 team in the books as a result of effort when in " that other conference "
I've followed WP football since '57 probably more than anyone else on this board.. And know more. Don't look at 10 -1, look at schedule and last three weeks.
You won't have the gumption to post this : predictions : Tulane 42 -7, Navy wins by two - three touchdowns and makes cadets look bad, bowl game , who cares ? You'll sweep the most knowledgeable, accurate view under the rug. Hoorah !!! Just like Nam and Stan. That's the real fearless Army way. Enjoy your
fantasies, next year 4 -8 , no more CIC trophies in your lifetime, Navy QB will make Army QB look sick as he's the only offense cadets have, and Navy always shuts down Army inside running game
defense will give numerous long plays, Army zero long plays. HC's luster turns to grime.
Reason for this post : I hate hype.. Go ahead post , rebuttals will be of more interest than next two games, if I watch them it will be for laughs , two routs.
