Watching the UTSA game last weekend, you couldn't help but keep hearing the name of the UTSA defensive player "Dumas". That dude was in our backfield constantly--always shutting down the outside runs very effectively. It got to the point that I'm wondering to myself why Army wasn't identifying where Dumas was lined up and calling an audible to the opposite side of the field to not let him keep beating us.
Those of you that know offensive play calling and audibles at the line of scrimmage better than me, what are your thoughts? Was that something Army could/should have tried, or no? It just seemed like we kept running smack into Dumas nearly everytime we tried to run the ball outside...which had me wondering why the hell aren't we running the other direction?

yeah...about half way through that one, I began to wonder if they knew what play Army was calling.
