POSTSCEIPT QUESTIONS

Perhaps someone smarter than me can answer these questions. In addition to our annual demand to play a Division I school that we usually get embarrased plying and often receive more injuries that normal, After all he debate about joining or not joining a conference, we chose the former. As a result for some reason we won the conference and league championship this year. As a result we are heralded as a new generation and #22 in the nation. But wait, we are then told the league is weak, and Army had the weakest schedule, possibly making it easier to rise in power. So what is/was the purpose of abandoning long time rivals, and teams that can attract a following for teams that are supposedly so poor and rivalries will never come to frutation.nor crowd following. From there when we do become eligible to play in the conference champion ship it is play on a normally cold December night, starting at 8 and ending after 11pm. The cameras clearly showed the upper deck empty, and we all know 10,000 seats are temporarily missing on the East side. So attendance was less than 20,000 less 4000 cadets. or 16,000. FOR A CONFERENCE TITLE GAME!!! Then we have the 98, million now 172 million new construction, with luxury seating, for a few. So lets get back to this championship game. in addition to the above the schedule date is one week before our nationally ranked game with a 125 year rival Navy while they snuggle in their racks. And then we learn we are going to this encounter with a Leader who really wants to be somewheres else and has spent the week shopping his talents. What does that do for player/assist coaches moral? This has been going on for a few years now, but we are keeping the door open for him to stay if no options come along. How long are we willing to accept this arrangement? I sit here envisioning another 14 year losing streak, but I probably will not be here. My plan for next year is now on hold. Remember even Jim Young peeked before he took early retirement I can't endure that replay. ANY THOUGHTS???

Seeing the empty stands during the conference championship was not ideal. However, there wasn’t much time for out of towners to plan travel since the game wasn’t decided to be at West Point until 6 days before. The AD should have considered giving the tickets to families that live on post or in the surrounding community to try and fill the stands. AAC should maybe consider a neutral territory for the conference championship

As for JM, all of the articles I read all indicated JM was not going to run “the option” at any of the schools he was interviewing with. Meaning the entire offensive staff would have been out of a job had he secured one of these jobs. I am certain that was in the back of all of their minds during preparation this week. Do they have to move during Christmas with their families jobless? All distracting and can’t be good for a sense of brotherhood. If I’m a coach on staff I’m trying to leave knowing my HC is willing to drop me like that. I’m certain the players aren’t dumb and sense the tension and see all of the articles circulating. Hell it was talked about on ESPN before the heisman candidate reveal.

An AAC neutral site title game would be empty.

Did stupidly joining a conference and then playing in championship game impact our ability to beat navy? 100% yes

Did monken’s courting 3 different schools impact Navy game? 100% yes

But but but…a conference affiliation GREATLY helps us get a real good bowl!!!

(Joining the aac was stupid)

I think I saw the attendance for the AAC title game listed at ~14K. I wonder how long the waiting time for the busses was at 11pm. I suspect many of those hardy souls won't return if the next title game is at 8 PM.
