It's been very quiet this spring...nothing on this board, nothing really from Sal...what's going on with spring practice? Anyone have any insights or heard anything on Monken's efforts to MAGA?

QB battle I'm sure is top of mind for many of us...wonder how Coleman is looking and if he's being pushed in competition from others?

Dial up Army Football 2025 Spring Practice on Youtube. Several recent player interviews by Ken Kraetzer, including Coleman.

Its amazing that if you went to Army's web site, you
would have no idea that spring practice is happening.
Not looking for some big write up, just some pics
a 30 second video of practice, a 2 minute interview with
a coach. Anything would be appreciated

Army's use of social media is a 0 out of 100 and their decade's long lack of understanding about marketing and promotion and branding is right there as well at 0 out of 100. It is really amazing. There is literally zero reason why 50 years ago we didn't become "New York City's team" but currently we can't get a post on tik tok which explains why decade after decade our stadium is half empty. Our big promotion is "hey bring your boy scout to Army and we'll give you 50% off your 3rd ticket"

I applied multiple times for an athletic communications role at WP and never received an email. Despite my years of service with a Division I team in the field.

It is as quiet as WW2 Operation Overlord.

How about a picture of the construction progress of the east stands ??. We had a mild winter. They MUST have done some decent work on the project by now.
Then again, maybe not. Probably a strike or two will slow thing up.
You know, SOME fans like us would like to know.

Gone are the old days of Army Football. I used to ger excited about the diversity of a real national schedule where we would play teams from all over the place and not playing the same conference games reach year.
Yes I Know. It is different these days, but I still don't like it at all. Old guys do not adapt to change much and I sure do not.
The transfer Portal and the pay for play is not college football anymore. It's quasi professional.
Playing a schedule with a team like Taralton State is a disgrace to the fan base. Could not we have scheduled an eastern FCS team instead? What are we doing here?
It is the first time in 80 plus years, I cannot even spell an Army opponent's name without looking it up.
I did not look it up as you can tell by me attempting to look it u in this very post.

Enough with the "national schedule" argument. Our schedule now is roughly the same as it has been for 20 years. Army is playing a game in Texas almost every year now. The conference has teams in LA, MD, NC (x2), TX (x4), FL (x2), PA, AL, and OK.

The last time Army played a non-AF team West of Louisiana in the regular season before late year was Abiliene Christian (TX) in the weird 2020 season and then Rice & UTSA in 2019. (now conference mates). Also had a series with Hawaii and San Jose State in 2018/2019, and the OU game in 2019. Then you had the occasional series with UNT (TX) before that. But your comments make it seam like Army's schedule was teams from Washington to Florida to Maine to Souther Cal and everywhere in between. That is just not the case.

Then you make the bizarre point that we need to be a national team on one hand, but complain that the FCS opponent this year is from TX and not from somewhere within 100 miles of USMA?

Let it go man.
