wpgrad, I did the research for you...interestingly enough, just in the Monken era from 2014 to present, Army had bye-weeks in the following Septembers:

2019 (28 Sep)
2022 (24 Sep)
2023 (30 Sep)

This year the bye-week is about 2 weeks earlier, but certainly not unprecedented for Army to have a bye-week in September, whether independent or in a conference.

Well those bye weeks were unintentional, accidental and anomalies. This bye week is the direct result of joining the AAC. Ergo, joining the AAC was stupid

No, we had already agreed to join the AAC so it’s the fault of being in a conference. Just like wasting a beautiful fall day at West Point yesterday

To be fair the AAC is pretty lame. It will be even lamer when Tulane, Memphis and USF leave.
