First leg of the CinC trophy this weekend...wish I could be at Michie for this one. Army started their win streak last year by crushing the Zoomies 23-3 in Colorado. Since then, Army has gotten significantly better and Air Force has gone the other direction. Even though this is a rivalry game and you can generally throw the record books out the window for these games, I just don't think this Army team is going to underestimate Air Force. Monken and the team captains will have this team ready to roll. Army covers and crushes the Zoomies:

My two big low points as an army fan other than the annual ass whippings by Navy was in 2002 when I had high hopes that Todd Berry would turn it around and we start the season by losing to Holy Cross but the BIG moment was Bobby Ross in 2006 where Air Force just absolutely destroyed us. AF was up 43-0 at the half and during the interview Ross looked like Joe Biden at a press conference. It was demoralizing as a fan cause we knew we had just no shot (And we lost our last 6 to end the season)

(I'll go to my grave thinking that while Berry was bad, our worst hire by far was Ross. Not only was he not able to be a D1 coach anymore, he delayed the inevitable until late January and then we got stuck hiring Stan Brock who was horrible as well and totally out of his element).

One thing I do think is that if he can, Monken is going to RUN IT UP.
