If you go to page 234 in Phil Steele’s 2019 College Football Preview, you’ll see in the “2019” section the sentence: “..This is the best Air Force team in years.”

The trouble is, Air Force has a pretty rigorous schedule and that includes this game with Colgate. The Raiders finished 2018 with a 10-2 record. They lost a bunch of players from one of the best defenses at any college level last year but still, this is a team you don’t want to overlook coming out the gate.

The good thing is that teams don’t normally overlook any opponent in a season opener. Air Force should win this one by at least two touchdowns.
