Challenges for Navy
Houston is on a different level than the East Carolina team Navy beat on Sunday. A much more veteran team. They have nine starters on offense that are juniors or seniors. On defense that number is 10. Houston also leads the American Conference in rushing defense, allowing just 74 yards per game on average. That doesn’t mean they can stop the option though but those juniors and seniors have played at least couple games against Navy already. Navy’s going to have to execute their offense to perfection and win the turnover battle. Houston is the worst team in the American in the turnover margin stat (-2.50).
Saturday’s game kicks off at 3:30 PM ET. Watch on the CBSSN network.
