Challenges for Army
It’s been a disheartening first couple of games of Army football. The Black Knights have to put those first two disappointments behind them and flip the script against Villanova.
Quarterback Connor Watkins leads the Wildcat offense. In the opening win over Lehigh Watkins threw for 298 yards and three touchdowns while completing 11 of 15 passes. Jaaron Hayek leads Villanova in receptions with six for 141 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Graduate linebacker Antonio Montero has 10 tackles to lead his team.
This Villanova team could be dangerous. The Black Knights can’t afford to take them lightly.
