Challenges for Navy
The lopsided loss at Air Force had to be disheartening. Navy’s hopefully cleaned a lot of things up both offensively and defensively. Temple went 8-5 last season. The Owls have 10 position players back from 2019 including 7 on offense and 3 on defense. Returning QB Anthony Russo last season passed for 2,861 yards, 21 touchdowns and 12 interceptions while completing 246 of 419 passes (58.7%). The challenge for Navy is to stop or at least limit Russo’s passing success.
Saturday’s game kicks off at 6:00 PM ET. Watch on the CBS Sports Network.
